Expansion to the 5th continent - MOBA AG acquires MCE LASERS

The MOBA Group is expanding this month with the founding of its new subsidiary MOBA Mobile Automation Australia PTY Ltd, representing its high-end technologies for construction machinery for the first time on five continents. The acquisition of the laser specialist MCE Lasers from Melbourne was the logical consequence of more than 25 years of close cooperation. The Australian manufacturer and provider of state-of-the-art laser alignment technologies with more than 35 years of experience complements the in-depth knowledge of the MOBA Group.

Daniel Ramondetta, Managing Director of the new subsidiary, sees potential in the acquisition to further expand the premium customer service of the MOBA Group and to gain market shares in the machine control sector. The construction industries in Australia and New Zealand benefit not only from modern 2D and 3D machine controls, but also from the many years of expertise and experience of the laser manufacturer in selling and supporting the innovative MOBA systems. Combined with its own lasers, which have continuously been further developed close to the market, they complement a future-oriented portfolio for the construction site of tomorrow.

A special thank you goes to Zoran and Sylvia Crvenkovic, who have mainly contributed to the company’s success with their commitment for the last 40 years. The MOBA Group including MOBA Australia wishes them all the best in their well-deserved retirement.
