World premiere: MOBA AGRI-SONIC

Clear signals for precise machine control.
AGRI-SONIC sets new standards in working depth measurement. Thanks to intelligent echo filtering, the sensor delivers reliable and reproducible values even under vegetation or challenging field conditions. The compact, zero-maintenance module simplifies installation and minimizes downtime. With its CAN-bus interface and robust IP67 housing, AGRI-SONIC integrates seamlessly into modern machine concepts – the perfect choice for OEMs and system integrators.

With AGRI-SONIC, MOBA has been nominated for the Systems & Components Trophy at AGRITECHNICA – a strong recognition of the innovative strength and future relevance of our sensor technology.

MOBA portfolio at AGRITECHNICA

At AGRITECHNICA 2025, MOBA Mobile Automation will showcase its product portfolio for agricultural machinery. In Hall 17, Booth B18 at the world’s leading trade fair, the Limburg-based company will demonstrate how it applies decades of automation expertise in mobile machinery to the agricultural sector. On display will be scalable systems for OEMs and system integrators – from sensors and control technology to cloud-based data processing. The focus will be on robust components, open interfaces, and configurable hardware and software. The highlight at the booth: AGRI-SONIC – a targeted new development for agricultural machinery that enables precise working depth measurement.

New developments at the Innovation Corner

MOBA’s booth is aimed at machine manufacturers and system integrators seeking scalable, robust automation technology for applications such as soil cultivation, weighing, inclination measurement, or digital data processing. In addition to proven OEM solutions, the company will also present numerous new developments at the Innovation Corner.
These include the company’s first IMU, the IMU-6. Also on display is an innovative solution for contactless power transmission, developed in-house. The wear-free technology is ideal for rotating or hard-to-reach applications. Another highlight is the CAN-LIGHT signal lamp, shown in flat and round designs with matching configuration software. With IP67 protection, flexible control, and adaptive signaling, the lamp is suitable for a wide range of applications.

AGRI-SONIC: Accurate working depth in real time

As the centerpiece of the Innovation Corner, MOBA will present the new AGRI-SONIC. The robust ultrasonic sensor measures the actual working depth in soil cultivation – contactless and in real time. Normally, working depth is preset using support devices such as trailing rollers or support wheels. However, this only determines the relative position of the support devices to the machine frame, not the actual working depth. Especially under varying soil conditions, deviations occur: in moist or sandy areas, the supports sink deeper, while in dry areas they hardly sink at all. The working depth therefore varies. AGRI-SONIC, on the other hand, measures the distance directly between the machine frame and the ground – independent of obstacles such as vegetation. The special feature of the ultrasonic sensor is its ability to evaluate multiple echoes with precision. A specially developed algorithm reliably filters out interferences such as plant residues and identifies the relevant ground signal. The captured values are displayed on the terminal or serve as the basis for precise manual or automatic depth control.

Digital and modular weighing technology for agricultural machinery

Another focal point of the booth is MOBA’s solutions for mobile weighing. This includes the HLC-4000, a weighing system for precise weight detection directly on the vehicle. The cloud-enabled system was nominated at AGRITECHNICA 2023 for the “Systems & Components Trophy – Engineers’ Choice” and is characterized by precise real-time data. With a large touch display, remote maintenance, and data connectivity to external systems, it provides full control over weight, loading, and fleet management. The portfolio is complemented by body scales for silos and feed applications. Additional system components will also be presented at the booth, which OEMs can flexibly integrate into their machine solutions – from sensors and controllers to displays.

AUTOMATIC LASER CONTROL

MOBA LASER SYSTEMS

CB.D3.CAN RECEIVING SYSTEM

The CB.D3 provides the control layer for automatic laser-based blade positioning. It takes the receiver reference and interfaces with the machine’s hydraulic system so the blade can respond automatically, reducing the repeated manual corrections required to stay on the intended grade or level.

key capabilities

  • Compatible with proportional or on/off hydraulic valves
  • Three accuracy settings
  • Can be integrated with an elevating mast
  • Large LCD, die-cast aluminum housing and compatibility with MOBA laser receivers, slope and ultrasonic sensors

AUTOMATIC LASER CONTROL

MOBA LASER SYSTEMS

DUO3.CAN RECEIVING SYSTEM

For grading attachments that use two laser receivers, the DUO3 provides the control between the receiver signals and the machine hydraulics. It is designed for applications where both sides of the blade need to respond to the laser reference, helping automate repeated blade-height corrections while the operator runs the machine.

key capabilities

  • Dual-control configuration for two-receiver applications
  • Compatible with proportional or on/off hydraulic valves
  • User adjustable accuracy settings
  • Supports elevating-mast integration and works with MOBA laser receivers, slope and ultrasonic sensors

VISUAL LASER RECEIVER

MOBA LASER SYSTEMS

LASERGUIDE MINI R.45.TC PRO

The R.45.TC PRO builds on the straightforward visual guidance of the R.45.TC and adds connectivity for remote in-cab display and setup options. It gives operators a clear laser reference at the machine while supporting applications that benefit from CAN or Bluetooth integration.

key capabilities

  • Automatic tilt compensation
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Remote in-cab display capability
  • 7.5 in receiving length

VISUAL LASER RECEIVER

MOBA LASER SYSTEMS

LASERGUIDE MINI R.45.TC

The R.45.TC brings the laser reference directly to the machine so the operator can see whether the attachment is high, low or on grade without repeatedly stopping to check elevation. Built-in tilt compensation automatically corrects for boom-angle changes, helping maintain a more dependable reference while the machine moves.

key capabilities

  • Automatic tilt compensation
  • Integrated magnetic clamp for quick mounting
  • Fully waterproof, all-metal construction
  • 7.5 in receiving length with operating range up to 1,970 ft
