MOBA-Matic II automatically controls screed height and cross slope using the reference method that fits the paving application—helping crews maintain the intended profile and achieve more consistent paving results.
The system works with MOBA’s range of grade and slope sensors, allowing crews to configure the setup around the job—from stringline and surface references to long-range averaging with the Big Sonic-Ski.

AUTOMATIC GRADE & SLOPE CONTROL
MOBA-Matic II continuously compares the measured grade or slope with the selected setpoint and sends corrections to the screed as conditions change.
STRAIGHTFORWARD OPERATOR CONTROL
The four-button controller keeps common adjustments easy to reach, with a backlit display and controls for low-light paving conditions.
FLEXIBLE REFERENCE OPTIONS
Use the reference method that fits the job, including stringline, surface, non-contact and slope sensing, as well as averaging with the Big Sonic-Ski.

WHEN SMOOTHNESS NEEDS A LONGER REFERENCE
The Big Sonic-Ski uses multiple non-contact sensors to average the reference surface over a longer distance, reducing the influence of individual bumps and dips before the reference reaches MOBA-Matic II.
This gives the control system a more stable reference to follow, helping the screed respond to longer surface conditions instead of reacting to every small irregularity.
