Thanks to its modular construction, all components can be exchanged at any time in an uncomplicated manner. Patented technologies, such as the contactless joystick controller for example, save additional time when performing exchanges, thereby heightening the control panel’s level of serviceability. In addition to the hardware, the software has also been designed for long-term use. Using the integrated USB interface, software updates can be installed at any time. Such time- and cost-efficient upgrades not only increase the longevity of the system, but also significantly contribute to the reduction of maintenance times, thereby leading to a reduction in the after-sales costs for RUTHMANN’s STEIGER®customers. Specially developed features make the control panel a true everyday hero among users. Furthermore, the ultralight “Backbone” reduces the unit’s net weight, being a robust vibration-proof aluminium construction that combines all of the housing components with one another, thereby increasing the cage’s load capacity. The electrical sub-distribution system integrated in the control panel eliminates the need for a switch cabinet, thus saving on additional weight, space, effort and costs.

The control panel was optimally developed to meet RUTHMANN’s needs within the scope of a close co-operation. The customisability of the control-panel marking film makes language-specific and/or customer specific marking of the control panel possible after the function and info keys or the joystick has been individually programmed.
